Seagulls have taken to eating whale blubber straight from the whale. The situation has been getting worse as seagull numbers have soared.

Hmmm I'm sure I've heard of seagulls doing this before to whale calves (though not adult whales)...

thats awful and as we seem to have more seagulls due to a man made problem, its not like we can just let nature sort its self out here
