I sure felt it and wondered what the hell was happening and even went outside to see what could have caused the noise, thinking perhaps a plane had crashed seeing as I am not too far from three military bases.

Hope everyone from that neck of the woods are all OK and safe.

I didn't feel that one, but I experienced one a few years ago, I was at my friend's house which was almost right on the epi centre, and that was pretty scary!

I've never felt an earthquake before... That must've been scary though. If it had been me, I would've definitely freaked out.

I was standing up in the loft of someones house, and I was a bit merry.
So it was totally freaky!
I thought the house had been hit by a truck at first, till the shaking stopped and then started again Very Happy

I'm very lucky I live in Pennsylvania in the US. I've never felt or heard an earthquake in my life. I'm kind of curious of what it's like, though, not that I really want there to be an earthquake here.

The quake I felt was really minor compared to some that other countries get.
The whole house shook and vibrated. You could hear it vibrating too. It really felt like something had hit the house, HARD. Very weird feeling.
The quake I felt didnt hurt anyone. It damaged some houses but thankfully noone got hurt. So it was quite an experience really.

Just a few seconds, though it felt like a lot longer.
I was a bit scared after though, cos I needed to get a taxi home, and I was worried about aftershocks. But relieved that I hadn't left half an hour earlier, or I would have been in the taxi when the quake happened.
