Sainsbury's planned to use wonky and mis-shapen fruit and veg as special treats for kids at Halloween, but bonkers EU regulations that dictate what size and shape our veg should be brought a halt to these plans. As much as 20% of UK fruit and veg is wasted because of these stupid regulations while in other parts of the world people are left to starve.

other countries eat fruit and veg as they come out of the ground. In greece they still have the soil etc on them . They DONT fool around with things |

I'm glad they relaxed the law/regulations, I always thought they were pretty stupid really. |
