These mysterious Big Black Cat sightings have been reported for years now. While on a train from London back to Cambridge just a few years ago, it stopped at Baldock and just after leaving here, another passenger and I spotted what we were convinced WAS a Big Black Cat by the colour, shape, tail, and the sheer speed that it scarpered across a nearby field.

In the last year alone, there have been numerous 'sightings' in Cambridgeshire and just across the border in Norfolk and where I SAW one when on the way home from my Model Railway Club one night, just a couple of months ago. Other people also reported this same event and in the same area.

Going back several years now, there were photo's in one of the cheaper daily papers, with numerous suggestions as to what it was. I also believe that there has been one on Exmoor a few years back.
