I have 4 cats and recently we took the two younger (female) cats to the vets to get the 'snip'. This was on the 9th May.

Since then, they've been absolutely fine... Until today.

Tigger's personality has changed completely today. All she's done since 7am is growl, hiss and snarl at Gizmo which is completely out of character. She seems fine with me (although she hasn't purred as much as she usually does), but she doesn't want to be around the other cats.

I can see no signs of any injuries, so I have no idea what's going on or what to do.

I called the vet this morning and explained the situation. Luckily I was able to get an appointment for tomorrow morning and hopefully we'll be able to get to the bottom of this.

Has anyone else had an experience like this with their cats? Would anyone be able to give me a little advice?

Hmmm sounds odd. I don't keep cats though so I'm not familiar with their behaviour. It's best to take her to the vets to make sure everything is okay and has healed normally, but maybe she's just having a bit of a bad day.

It's probably nothing to worry about, and she is just having a bad day... but I worry a lot! lol

Better to be safe than sorry. My first thought wouldbe infection but if she's fine with you then that will probably be unlikely. It could just be a case of the changes upsetting the hierarchy between them.
