They used to cut them back. But I guess they just decided to get rid of the whole lot!
It's a catch 22. If you have trees near the line you get leaves on the line and you all know what happens to Trains when they come across leaves. But they cut the trees down and there is nothing to 'root' the ground and they get landslips!
Personally speaking I find it like sending the Army into a nursery for a crying baby!
I still look out the window out of habit. There is sometimes a pigeon!
I have no idea where the birds have all gone. There is a line of trees separating fields further along and bushes along the roadside. But I haven't seen any.  _________________
