Went out for a bike ride today - waaaaaaaaaay out into the countryside ()total was around 16 miles). Spotted a roe deer (seem to be seeing them a lot lately) roe deer, buzzard, kestral, oystercatcher, skylark, tree sparrow, chaffinch, meadow pipit, linnet, swift, swallow, house martin, crow, jackdaw...usual suspects and I THINK I may have seen a Hen Harrier! I thought it was a buzzard but when I looked a bit closer the tail looked long for a buzzard. Of course, the bird then promptly vanished and I didn't see it again to get a closer look.

I to love to ride my bike to just get outside and enjoy the animals that I see, here in Florida I get to see a lot of differant kinds/types of animals. I also like riding the bike to just get out of the house and let the cool breeze flow on my face, it makes me relaxed and also when I come back to the house, cleance of the mind maybe?

i would have fallen off the bike spotting all those things i was thinking of getting a bike i still am as it would be usefull..could get out further with camera..

It is a very pleasent way to get around, haven't been out lately because I've been busy in the garden and the weather hasn't been that great.
