Kept meaning to post about this useful little gadget I bought a couple of months ago - its a remote contol switch set that allows things to be switched off at the mains without having to move furniture to get to the plug! I bought my set from LIDL for £12.99 but you can buy them on Amazon. They are really useful for turning off things at the mains where the plugs are hidden, and would be very handy for people that struggle to bend down to switches etc.
