The first one looks like a cetacean to me! Maybe a beaked whale?

Theres some cool artwork in those. Being a bit rationalist, i put most the old claims down to lack of education and knowledge of the world back then.

The modern ones (especially with pics) really makes you think though. I'd love to think theres lots of undiscovered species out there. Lets hope humans don't encroach too far so the thrill of the chase can continue.
