What is the weirdest animal you have in countered with in real life.

I'm going to go with a dragonfly nymph when I was still at school Me and a friend went pond dipping and we caught this mini-monster (they do look like mini monsters!) in our net.

Nah, didn't go around with my camera and even then I didn't have one that would have been able to get a decent photo of that little beastie I think it must have been a bad omen though because afterwards we got caught out in thunder and lightning!
