The dodo wasn't the only animal on the island of Mauritius to be driven to extinction, there is a whole cast of other unique species that vanished from the island with the arrival of humans and the animals they introduced. A giant skink, giant tortoises and the Mauritius broad-billed parrot were among the 45 species to vanish completely.

The whole world is full of things to discover, yet somethings we find too late.
I wonder if what was said in the matrix about Man being a virus is true, how we seem to infect and destroy.
