Last night it was so rainy and windy I thought the roof was going to come off.

The power went off for about 30 seconds but I have a load of buzzers and stuff that get set off when the power goes off.

Well, you could've scraped me off the ceiling! What a sh..... I got!!!

Yep, sunny now, bit breezy though.

Living in Sunderland we get very similar weather as Scotland,the snow is not quite so severe though.

We don't get bad snow where I live, we're quite sheltered and avoid the worst of it!

I'm originally from Stockton, not too far from Sunderland. When I was a kid we used to go to Sunderland to see the lights and the airshow Laughing

They`ve stopped doing the lights now but the airshow is great at Seaburn when the weathers nice.

I like Scotland and have quite a few friends who live in and around Glasgow.
Have some relatives too who live somewhere in the highlands as i have Scotttish ancestors.
Probably off when they invaded down to York and had their wicked way. Very Happy

We had a foot of snow on Sunday when i woke up,forcast more snow but it rained all last night and washed it all away.
Its been quite a pleasant day today though.

Chilly day here today, took the dog for a walk round Forfar Loch and most of it was frozen over! Still some snow on the ground and light snow falling!

Lots and lots and lots of snow today! Was meant to go on a visit today with some of the other RSPB volunteers but that was cancelled - of course I recieved the call when I was already on the way to Dundee so I had to dro

p OH off at work and will have to pick him up later Surprised

Today was the first time I've driven in snow but it wasx okay.

The snow is getting to be around 6 inches deep now I think - well past my ankles anyway - and it is still falling! We aren't grinding to a standstill here though Wink

Driving in the snow is a doddle, just try to get as high a gear as possible to avoid wheel spinning.

Frosty this morning but the sun came out and had to have the windows open at work!
