SIGNATURE/IMAGE GUIDELINES

The maximum size for a signature image is 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels high. Any images larger than this will be removed.

Images posted on the forum should be no longer than 640 pixels wide to avoid stretching the page - this is for your benefit too as it ensures that everyone can see the full image.

How to Upload Images to a Post

When posting, underneath the text box which you right the body of your post in you will see a link, that says "Upload image to post".

How do I use this feature?

It's quite simple really, just follow these 4 steps:

1. Click on the 'Upload Image to Post' link.

2. On the 'PostImage.org' window, press 'Browse'.

3. Locate your image on your Hard Drive, press 'Open'.

4. Press the 'Upload It!' button, and the thumbnail code will be pasted into your Post.

Please note - PostImage.org does not allow you to delete images that you have uploaded, so if you want more control of the images you upload please use your usual service. PostImage also does NOT allow copyright images to be uploaded, so only upload your work or images you have permission to upload.

Activation/log-in problems

Upon registering you should recieve an e-mail with a link for activating your account. This may take up to 24 hours to come through. PLEASE check your e-mail spam box as this is where many account activation e-mails end up. However some e-mail providers, particularly AOL, block these e-mails. It should go through with Hotmail, Googlemail and Yahoo so if possible try using a account with one of these rather than AOL.

If you fail to activate your account, I will normally activate it manually and send you an e-mail confirming that you can now log on using your e-mail and password.

If you have problems logging in to your accont, first try clearing the cookies:

Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History

Ranking System

Your rank will change as you hit the set number of posts.

There ranks are:

Templates

There are three templates that have been installed on the forum. The default one is classic game, which is a light background template. For those that prefer dark templates there is a bamboo template. This one won't have the forum logo at the top but it does have the header banner. There is also the basic subsilverplus template.

You can change which template you are using in your profile.
